Belle Reve NOLA is a longtime community established non-profit, locally and internationally recognized for its charitable accomplishments.

Centrally located in the heart of the Bywater, Belle Reve NOLA is an important community asset rooted within the 300 year old historic city.

Charted in September 1992 and opening its doors in March 1993, Belle Reve NOLA was the first non-profit residential facility serving the HIV/AIDS population of New Orleans to be licensed in the State of Louisiana.

Since 1982, HIV/AIDS has killed more than 70 million people around the world. With over 2 million new cases diagnosed each year, the Louisiana Department of Health 2018 first quarter reports over 21,910 people living with HIV/AIDS in Louisiana and 8,474 people living with HIV/AIDS in the Greater New Orleans Area. Even with modern medical advances, patients who are HIV positive and homeless have fewer resources to help maintain their necessary medical treatments.

Belle Reve provides a safe, caring, supportive and non judgement all enviornment, for us all. We can heal, recover, learn, and grow- so that we can reach higher goals, learn how to cope with specific problems, and issues and dream of great things and gives us the tools and education, encouragement, nutrition, to achieve anything we set out to do! belleReve has taken me from a place where life was an unfortunate burden , to a place where my future has never looked so promising and I am excited everyday to se my growth and the growth of those around me.
